Our Mission Statement

The Mount Dora Center for the Arts is a non-profit collaborative leader, which plays an integral role in the community, by demonstrating the passion and commitment to the development of the arts through progressive and diverse educational programs, dynamic exhibits and an arts festival which is the foundation of artistic expression within the community.

The Mount Dora Center for the Arts is a multifaceted community center providing fine art gallery exhibitions, education programs for all ages and levels, Art of the Deal - an annual fine art auction, quarterly Art Strolls, and a multitude of volunteer opportunities for all ages. The Mount Dora Center for the Arts also presents the Annual Mount Dora Arts Festival every February. This celebrated art show brings together 285 nationally acclaimed artists to beautiful historic downtown Mt. Dora for a weekend long arts experience.

Mount Dora Center for the Arts is a community based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering an appreciation of art and culture in the Central Florida region.


THE GALLERY
Each year the gallery features art of the highest quality to inspire others and promote learning. The gallery is free and open to the public six days a week.
EDUCATION
The Arts Education program consists of 5 studios hosting a multitude of dynamic programming from master oil painting to belly-dancing. Get inspired!
THE ART FESTIVAL
The Annual Mount Dora Arts Festival is the regions premiere outdoor art show. 285 artists from all over the country enter to compete in over $20,000 in cash awards.

ART OF THE DEAL
This annual gala features a fine art auction, dancing and dining the night away while supporting the efforts of improving the cultural climate of the community. Join us for catered cuisine, top shelf open bar, and dancing the night away!
ART STROLL
The Art Stroll is a quarterly evening of festivities including artists, music and hors d’oeuvres. This event is designed to showcase regional art at several walk-able venues throughout Downtown Mount Dora. Maps can be picked up at any location along the stroll
VOLUNTEER
The Art Center hosts training sessions and orientations for volunteers in a multitude of areas for those interested in the behind the scenes or in the middle of the action at one of the leading Art Centers in the nation.
